SMS Messaging Consent Policy
Last updated: November 11, 2025
Overview
Continuum Training uses SMS text messaging to communicate important information with drivers, customers, and partners. This page explains how we use SMS messaging, what types of messages you may receive, and how to manage your preferences.
Types of SMS Messages
When you provide your mobile phone number to Continuum Training, you may receive the following types of SMS messages:
- Shipment and delivery notifications
- Load assignment alerts for drivers
- Schedule changes and updates
- Time-sensitive operational communications
- Account and security notifications
- Customer service responses
- System alerts and important announcements
Consent to Receive SMS Messages
By providing your mobile phone number and using our services, you consent to receive SMS text messages from Continuum Training. Your consent is not a condition of purchase or use of our services, but it enables us to provide you with timely operational updates and communications.
For drivers and employees, SMS communications are part of normal business operations and help ensure efficient coordination of transportation services.
How SMS Consent Is Collected
Drivers and staff opt in through an explicit SMS consent checkbox in the Jarvis driver onboarding and profile workflow. The checkbox is unchecked by default and must be actively selected before SMS messaging is enabled for operational updates.
The checkbox states: “I agree to receive SMS text messages from Continuum Training. Receive operational notifications including load assignments, delivery updates, schedule changes, and time-sensitive communications. Reply STOP to opt out anytime. Message and data rates may apply.”
Consent records are stored with timestamps. Users can later opt out by replying STOP to any SMS message, contacting support, or updating their profile settings.
Message Frequency
Message frequency varies based on your role and activity level:
- Drivers may receive multiple messages daily related to load assignments and updates
- Customers receive messages as needed for shipment tracking and delivery notifications
- Administrative users receive messages based on system alerts and operational needs
We strive to send only necessary and relevant messages to minimize interruptions.
Message and Data Rates
Message and data rates may apply as determined by your mobile carrier. Continuum Training does not charge for SMS messages, but your carrier may charge you for text messages and data usage according to your mobile plan.
We are not responsible for any charges you may incur from your mobile carrier for receiving SMS messages from our system.
How to Opt Out
You can opt out of receiving SMS messages from Continuum Training at any time using any of the following methods:
- Reply STOP to any SMS message you receive from us
- Reply UNSUBSCRIBE to any SMS message
- Contact our support team and request to opt out
- Update your communication preferences in your account settings (if available)
After you opt out, you will receive a confirmation message, and we will not send you further SMS messages unless you opt back in or as required for critical account or safety notifications.
